For those who crave fruity flavors, the selection of Fruit Teas is nothing short of spectacular. A customer favorite is the Citrus Berry SMASHED STRAWBERRY with FRESH ORANGE, which melds the bright tastes of strawberries and oranges into a revitalizing drink. The generous chunks of real fruit elevate the overall experience, making you feel as if you’ve taken a bite out of summer.
Don't overlook the extra toppings, either. From the smooth texture of Fresh Taro Paste to the chewy satisfaction of Boba, these additions elevate your bubble tea adventure. As one reviewer mentioned, Glaze Tea's Misty Berry drink is a must-try, especially when paired with their scrumptious Glutinous Taro Cheesecake.
The positive feedback continues with customers enjoying a swift and friendly service experience. Utilizing self-ordering kiosks, guests can navigate the diverse menu filled with creatively named drinks and snacks. Many return not only for the drinks but also to bask in the enjoyable atmosphere and commendable customer service.
However, some reviews note that while prices might lean on the higher side, the quality and creativity found in each drink justify the cost. Specialty drinks like the Mango Pomelo and Coco Melon Breeze are frequently highlighted for their rich flavors, though taste preferences may vary.
All in all, Glaze Tea Doraville is not just a bubble tea shop; it’s a combination of flavorful innovation and community charm. Come to discover your new favorite drink or indulge in a dessert—either way, it promises a delightful experience that will keep you coming back for more.
“ After dinner, we were looking for something refreshing for dessert. I'm glad we decided to go to Glaze Tea. It may not look spacious from the outside but once you walk in you can see that is pretty roomy. Speaking of the space, I love the set-up, the variety of sitting areas, and the clean environment. Here's my recommendations: 1. The ice cream hot pot. You can pick up to 6 items. We picked the pistachio ice cream, the strawberry ice-cream, the boba, the mochi pudding, watermelon, and strawberry. It was the perfect combo. 2. The Misty Berry drink. It was so good with the lychee jelly. 3.The Coco Melon Breeze drink. 4. The Glutinous Taro Cheesecake. Make sure you go check them out. Great staff, ambiance, delicious drinks and yummy desserts. ”
“ Friendly staff. Very clean. Owner or the store name had changed a few times in the past several years. Plenty of parking space & plenty of seating with a private meeting section. Self ordering on via one of the gigantic ordering machine by the entrance of the store. Not the cheapest drink place in town (Most drinks are around 8), but it definitely one of the most innovated one! Love their menu design. Quick service, flavorful drink. Very generous topping in our drink. Love the design of the drink cup! The food lost one start as there were too many mango fibers in our drink (Mango Pomelo). The authentic one should have mango chunks and no fibers. Also we didn't taste the pomelo pulp which should have been in the drink (if it's authentic), and based on their menu, it looks like they substitute with grapefruit (still no pulp). Overall, I will recommend and will return! ”
“ Okay place to get bubble tea and snacks. Everything is overpriced. If you only want to spend 5 on tea, don't come here. Majority of the bubble teas are 9! Some are 15. The bubble tea I got, durian pomelo needed more sweetener for my taste (I asked for 100% it tasted like 25% sweetener, it has all the "aroma" of durian but no sweetness), i didn't taste any pomelo, and the cheese cream was super light as well but if you like very lightly sweetened beverages and snacks, this is the place for you. The other drinks might be better but I didn't try them but if you put durian on a menu, I feel like you should be confident in the flavor profiles. So I don't know if I have hope for the other drinks. The rose cake had a nice texture, but it was also so lightly sweetened I couldn't quite pick up on the flavor until it was my last bite. You can tell everything is carefully crafted, but i just wasn't impressed by the flavor overall. Overpriced, 16 the size of two playing cards... Ridiculous. The French fries were amazing though. Best fries I've had in a long time. And they were the only thing reasonably priced at 4. The staff are okay. Not super helpful or friendly, but just kinda average. They told me that I should look at the kiosk for questions about the tea (instead of just answering my questions). I didn't like that because the kiosk digital order machine doesn't have real pictures, they're all cartoonish illustrations (non realism) and have creative names like "Wood Sage Tea" but have no wood or sage. So although it's very cute to look at, it's a bit confusing given some of the names. Some of the drinks in the picture look like soft serve smoothies, but then when you get it, they're like a regular milk tea. The facility is beautifully designed, clean and nicely laid out. Wheelchair accessible. Good amount of space to stretch out. Not crammed. Window seating if you want to sit alone. Gender neutral bathrooms. I didn't test out the wifi but it seems like it could be a nice place to work if you don't mind the prices and mid-flavor profile. ”
“ I love this boba shop. The milk tea is so great and tasteful. Personally, I recommend purple taro. Will come again! ”
“ This place was amazing. A hidden gem. At first glance, it was a loner but when we walked in thumbs up. The tea was very good. It is one of my top five tea spots. Very cute for a date or to hang with friends. Loved it! ”
“ It’s a new store after the previous one closed. This one has some really well designed and fun name and combination of drinks. We tried the most original one last night and I like it. I would love to try some more different stuffs next time. Specifically, they have sweet hot pot which you can put some deserts such as bubble or puddings in the pot. I am so curious about that and would love to try it next time. Defentely will try it next time and love to come back. ”
“ The mango tea was perfection. I was pleasantly surprised by the REAL mango pieces at the bottom. So delicious!!! By far the best I had in a restaurant setting. I was a first timer and the menu was easy to read. The cashier help me how much sweetener to add. This was a great experience and I will come back ”
“ This place is very clean & spacious! The tea is great & there's non-dairy creamer. When you come in there's a kiosk at the front where you order & get your ticket number. You can choose where to sit down while you wait for your order to be called. There's music playing- a little on the loud side IMO but there's a more closed off study room you can go into. My friend bought the boba hot pot they boast on their social media pages & it looked amazing! I got the Fermented Jasmine Milk Tea & fell in love with it immediately. It has fermented osthmanthus rice in it so if you don't like bits in your drink you can avoid it but the flavor was delicious! Also got Panko Shrimp & fries- it was pretty average hot snack food. A lot of fries for your buck though! ”
